A familiar user interface is maintained across all pages of the MangoApps Web Client. Stay connected with colleagues and remain informed of their MangoApps activities from the Chat Bar. The Chat Bar goes beyond IM to control many of the most common MangoApps activities like instant messaging, group chat, online presence status, and phone-to-phone conference calling called Click to Call.

My Friends list
Your Friends List consists of the names of colleagues that you are following, their online presence and actions you can take using the Social Bar. The Social Bar Friends List is the easiest way to start an IM session from the web.

Chat with a Friend
Instantly start an chat session with a colleague in your Friends List using the integrated, full-featured IM client on the Social Bar. Other chat actions, described below, can be activated during a chat session.

Chat actions
You can continue your Instant Messaging conversation while performing a variety of actions with respect to the current IM session.

View Chat History
View your chat history with your current IM colleague. The chat history will be sorted chronologically by date.

Upload File
Share any type of file while having an IM chat conversation with a colleague.

Remove / Add to I’m Following
Add or remove the colleague from your Following List while continuing your IM conversation.

Report Abuse
Report inappropriate communication from the current IM colleague while continuing the IM conversation.

Group chat
Chat with the online members of MangoApps Groups you belong to or create a new group of just the people that you want to group chat with right now. Group Chat messages can be saved for review at a later time by offline group members.


My Status
Alert your colleagues of your online presence status and availability by setting “Online”, “Busy”, or “Invisible”. Colleagues can see your status and decide how to communicate with you in MangoApps based on that status.

Notifications
Stay informed of companywide initiatives and announcements through updates that arrive to Notifications.

Smiley support
Convey your “Happy”, “Ecstatic” or “Sad” and other moods using graphical emoticon smilies in Social Bar IM conversations. Supported emoticons are “Happy”, “Sad”, “Wink”, “Ecstatic”, “Stick Out Tongue”, and “Surprised”.

Click to Call
Configured MangoApps domains can instantly start 1-to-1 full-blown, multi-user conference calls with Click to Call from the Social Bar.
First, choose the phone number from the choices in your profile or manually enter your phone number. Then choose a number from other colleagues’ profiles or manually enter their phone. MangoSpring handles the phone bridging behind the scenes.
You phone rings first and then participants phones ring. Once people pick up, you’re all connected and it’s just like any other phone call.

Expand/Collapse Action
The MangoApps Social Bar can be collapsed to a small space on the right side of the screen then expanded later. Simply click this action button to collapse or expand the Social Bar.
