Quick Task Creation (From the Dashboard)
Project and task management made quick. Quickly create a task from the dashboard by clicking the Tasks tab to begin entering your task information. In a matter of seconds you can create a task for yourself, a colleague or a group.
After the task is created you can edit the task details at any time
Recurring and Repeating Tasks
Easily configure task recurrence using the flexible options available in MangoApps. Expand the "Task Recurrence" section to reveal the settings.
Tasks can recur on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly cycles depending on your needs when creating a task.
MangoApps includes the option for custom recurrence such as setting the days between each recurrence, recurring every weekday, or repeat the same task a certain number of days after the previous task was completed.
Date ranges for task recurrence can be set including ending the task after a certain number of recurrences or ending the task on a certain date are also configuration options.
Creating a Task from a Feed
Microblog feeds are a big part of web task management. Easily promote portions of or entire feeds into tasks that can be assigned to you, a colleague or a group.
Then efficiently convert task feeds to report your status updates. Set your user or project settings so that tasks are automatically converted to status updates.
Task Milestones
Categorize tasks using a Milestone. Create milestones to show a duration in time that tasks fall under. Task Milestones in MangoApps helps organize your tasks.
Use "See Why?" to examine projects or milestones that are in "critical" or "risk" states. To use "See Why?" click the link next to the project or milestone with the "critical" or "risk" state.
Task Management
Our online task management application lets task assigners edit the details of any task after it's been created. Simply find the task on the main tasks page, choose "Task details" to open the edit window.
Gantt Chart Task & Milestone View
Instantly see how concurrent tasks overlap and gauge staffing workloads with the MangoTasks Gantt Chart view.
Scheduling can be filtered per day, week, month or quarter with task and milestone durations shown by bars representing their start and end dates. The colleague or group responsible for the task or milestone is shown beside each task's mark.
Delete a Task
Project and task management also requires a simple way to remove tasks as needed. Mango Tasks allows both Task assigners and the responsible party to delete tasks as the workflow dictates. A notification of the deleted task will be sent to every follower of the task and task members.
Task Notification Settings
Every colleague in MangoTasks can set their notification preferences independently. Settings to receive mails for tasks are included in the list of settings.
