MangoApp v1.1 Release Notes

We are excited to announce release of MangoApps 1.1 to production. In addition to some bug fixes, MangoApps 1.1 brings some significant new features (shared tasks across Web, Desktop and iPhone applications, Project Teams, full SSL support, tag based hyper-linking and search, UI improvements) to this point release. Detailed release notes are attached below.

Features Added
Desktop:
- Hash-tag based search in Messages now available.
- Profiles can now be auto-linked from a feed message
- Improvements to Task Life Cycle
- Improved Usability on the Desktop Client
Web Portal:
- Complete task work flow.
- Complete Project Team support
- From “Settings” -> “Feed”, users can specify push settings for Birthday Announcements, Employee Recognition, Office Poke, etc.
- All feeds email consolidated to include “My Inbox”, “Feeds”, “Messages”, etc.
- Full SSL support added to Web client
- New product videos added to marketing pages.
Fixes:
Desktop:
- Improved behavior when desktop client becomes out-of-sync with the network / server.
- Correct profile pictures are now shown when computer wakes from “sleep” mode.
- Recent Colleagues are no longer duplicated in the list.
- Group chat IM setting is no longer missing.
- Bold, Italic, and Underline now work in chat window.
- Improved how search results are displayed.
- Hitting return to send a message in IM now clears the composition section of the IM window.
Web :
- IE will no longer show a warning for Images over HTTPS.
- Single character on project tab no longer presents a problem.
- Out-of-Network invite now works as expected
- Improvements to Poll
- In “Profile” -> “My Tasks” a prompt is now shown when adding a task from the left-hand-side module.
- Emails other than Weekly Digest will no longer be sent to users that have never logged in.
- MangoApps Social Bar now loads as expected in all domains.
- Fixed a domain ID issue on the Demo.mangospring.com domain.
- Projects dropdown now shows in “Dashboard” -> “Project” as expected.
- Colleagues dropdown now shows in “Dashboard” -> “Wall Message”
- Pressing the <Enter> key while in the “Task Name” field while creating a task no longer creates the task, but rather puts cursor on next line of the “Task Name” field.
- Removed empty sections from daily emails.
- If all sections are empty in the daily email, it no longer gets sent.
- “What are you working on?” no longer grows when user starts typing on Chrome browser.
- Improved Task “View Details” page UI.
- Fixed alignment issues for Tasks in multiple places.
- Improved Task behavior on Chrome and Safari browsers.
