Task Details Pop-up at a glance:

The MangoApps UI has been improved to show you the task details you want to edit while keeping your place on the MangoApps page while you’re editing the details. Full details for the task are still available separately if you need to change “Followers” of a task or see “Task Conversation”.

In the picture, “Task Details” was clicked on while viewing the task on the dashboard (annotation “1”). The idea here is that when you’re done editing the task details, you will be returned to the dashboard where you left off. If you click on “View full details” you will be taken away from the dashboard to a new page showing the complete task details including the “Task Followers” and “Task Conversation” sections.

Full Task Details “Goto” Drop-down at a glance:

Save time by easily finding out what other tasks are on the plate of the owner of this task’s plate. Simply click on “Full Task Details” from the task details pop-up and choose “Go to” -> “Sandra Bean’s tasks” (from picture below).

Alternately, see the tasks for the entire project from the task that you are looking at click “Go to” -> “Office Ergonomics Project’s project tasks” (from picture below).

The Context Sensitive “More” Action at a glance:

Each feed on your dashboard, in a group or part of a project has actions that you can take on that feed. We’ve added “More” as an action to accommodate feed actions such as “Hide” or “Move” into a context sensitive list per feed type.

Bring social media inside as a social intranet to lower attrition

I’m sure by now unless you are living in a closet, you know social media is king. FaceBook, Twitter, YouTube if you aren’t using these tools already you are missing out on a lot of business. But what about your consultant’s? How do they communicate internally. Email, Wikis, Facebook? How do they deal with Training, Customer Service issues, problems with another consultant. Do you really want this aired on Twitter? Even a private group on Facebook? Or, should you bring this internally?

MangoSpring has recently re-launched MangoApps, built on the Engage Communication Platform. MangoApps gives you the tools to have your own Facebook-like newsfeed and micro-blog. Consultants can create groups, public or private, (public meaning they are still behind your firewall, safe secure and able to be moderated.) Safe from the prying eyes of Google’s crawling bots, your dirty laundry won’t become searchable for those outside your organization. MangoApps can be used as a Training platform as well. Instant messaging one to one or in a group is possible from MangoApps. Project management, Idea capturing, Facebook like Event planning all done within your own private Social network. You can set up your domain in seconds, with free admin access for the first person to sign up (can be passed to others as well). Claim your domain today before your consultants do. Any one of the MangoApps Domains are free to try forever for up to 10 users, or 30 days for the larger plans. Plans Start at $2.50/user and go down, larger domains get considerable discounts for bulk pricing. Need 30,000 users, we can handle that no problem. Just contact us today.

MangoApps Transform Workflow Management into True Collaboration

New Release enables employees to communicate using instant messaging, microblogging, and voice calling, while simultaneously managing projects, tasks, documents, tasks, events and ideas.

SEATTLE, WA  June 15th, 2010 – MangoSpring, the leading provider of hosted hyper-collaboration services, today announced its set of business focused MangoApps was released from Beta and is now ready for small, medium, and enterprise customers. MangoApps are the best integration of business workflow tools with an unparalleled communication platform, offering employees a means to collaborate on their everyday work.

“We believe that true collaboration occurs only when employees’ communication is integrated with the daily workflow,” said MangoSpring CEO Anup Kejriwal. “A business is made up of employees working on projects, managing documents and generating new ideas, and they don’t do it alone. By integrating our real-time communication platform with MangoApps, we unleash employees’ ability to contribute, collaborate and be more productive. “

Companies with only two employees and those with hundreds of thousands are using and understanding the value of MangoApps.  Used separately or in conjunction, each MangoApp solves an important part of the business workflow:

MangoTalk – Integrated set of microblogging, instant messaging, polling, and voice calling tools. Employees can now move seamlessly from public, offline microblogging or polls to real-time private IM or voice conversations.

MangoDocs – Provides document management functionality to the entire company. Employees can upload documents, leave comments for authors, request updates, or follow a document, knowing that they always have the latest version.

MangoTasks – Provides task management for every employee. Knowledge workers can keep track of their specific tasks and managers can assign work and follow employee progress, making status reports a thing of the past.

MangoProject – Provides project management capabilities, allowing employees to focus teams on a specific goal, assign tasks, and upload documents. Teams can chat publicly, instant message privately, create instant polls, or place voice calls all with a single click of the mouse.

MangoIdeas – Provides a workflow to capture ideas from across the company, allowing public discussion using microblogging while encouraging fresh and innovative ideas to new projects.

MangoEvents – Allows companies and employees to plan and organize events like team summits, company meetings, training sessions, business trips and office parties.

All MangoApps are built on the MangoSpring’s Engage platform. The Engage platform provides a core set of functionality to all applications including: Search; Employee Profiles; Group Chat; Instant Messaging; Polling; Microblogging; and one-click voice calls to landline or mobile numbers. Additionally, the Engage platform provides open API’s to integrate with existing company infrastructure, providing a unified user experience between current systems and MangoApps.

MangoApps are available in two Software as a Service (SaaS) deployment options: shared and private. Shared Cloud Networks are hosted on MangoSpring multi-tenant servers in a telco class data center. Private Cloud Networks are also hosted on MangoSpring single-tenant servers for customers who need VPN access, higher security and a higher service level agreement (SLA). In addition, MangoApps are available as an on-premise solution for customers wishing to deploy alongside their other IT systems behind their firewall.
