Dear MangoApps User,

This mid october release of MangoApps  brings over 50 enhancements thru’out the MangoApps platform. Most notably:

• Admin enhancements:
  • Admin can now perform the user management actions like invite, activate, suspend, reset password etc., for multiple users at once.
  • Admin can now sets the list of users he would like to see on one page
  • Admin now can filter and see the users who have logged in this week, never logged in etc.
  • There is now a tab where the admin get to choose additional methods to invite users into the network
• New reports:
  • User Access Log Report for Admin
    • Admin now has a new report which shows the log for all the users access the system across web, desktop and the different mobile platforms. This report will be available for the last 30 days (It will start to get build after this release).
    • Ability to filter, sort and set the number of log entries to see on a page
    • Ability to get a PDF printout of the report
  • Activity to Task Report for a user and in a project/group
    • Gives a report to track my activity which got converted to a task with the most up to date status on it. Filter it on a date range and get a PDF printout of it.
    • Gives a report to track activity in a project/group which got converted to a task with the most up to date status on it. Filter it on a date range, per person within the project and get a PDF printout of it.
• Desktop:
  • File UI simplified
  • Notifications related issues fixed with ability to launch the feed directly from the notifier window

  • Multiple UX related improvements and bug fixes thru’ out the MangoApps platform

MangoProjects & MangoTasks Reports and Enhancements

New Reports tab in Projects with 3 report types available; progress, time and Gantt chart.

• Now you can quickly create a Project progress report of tasks, and filter the report to get the information you need quickly.
• Also available are reports for Project Time sheets and Gantt Charts.

Separation of internal and external group/project members (Network versus Guest)

• Now you can easily tell when a project is externally facing as project members are separated in two windows, internal and external.
• Network users are listed in one bucket, and external guest users are listed in the other.

Project and Group feeds can be filtered to show your activity only.

• Now you can easily tell see you activity in a group generated by you or your activity.
• You can also see just unread items, and mark all as read.

Miscellaneous Items

Invite colleagues to Group or Project from the office card fly-out

• You can now search for people with a particular expertise and with just 2 clicks invite the right person using the person’s office card/fly-out to your project or group.
• This makes Finding and inviting the experts in your company to your group or project simple

After 24 hours message post dates shows absolute date versus X number of days

• After 1 day the time format becomes in absolute value. Within 24 hours it remains in X hours ago.
• Now there is no need to count back what date 57 days ago was.

Desktop

Ability to view task in a Milestone

• Now in addition to the bucket view, you can view your tasks based on the milestone.

Bug fixes

• Feed issues with double posts and hidden feeds showing as blank.
• Task error – Use “reset client” if you haven’t already to fix this.

• Ability to start a video conferencing session with a set of people, a group, a project, on a document, a event or 1-0-1 on web. Users from Mobile, Desktop & Web can join in the Huddle.

  • These are unlisted groups.
  • They are only known and seen by the group members. Admin also does not have access to it.
  • Can’t be discovered via search or even if a non-member knows the link to it
  • All contents (documents, tasks, wikis, posts etc) of secret groups/projects are not accessible by non-members
• Default groups & projects created on a new domain
  • MangoApps FAQ, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Project Management, Product Management, Classifieds, All of us

• Suggested list of people to follow is now available
• Suggested list of groups to join is now available
• Ability to Invite new colleagues right from the dashboard now
• New Feed generated when a user imports his linked in profile, downloads a desktop or any of mobile client for the first time.
• Last preference of the user is remembered for the LHS & RHS modules on the Web GUI.
