MangoAppSuite adds Shared Tasks and Project Teams
MangoSpring adds Shared Tasks and Project Teams to its Employee Collaboration Application.
MangoAppSuite delivers the missing ingredient to make social business software truly effective for business communication. MangoAppSuite seamlessly combines business social networking with enterprise-grade Instant Messaging to enable open and immediate employee communication and collaboration.
Seattle, WA March 13, 2010 — MangoSpring, a provider of real-time messaging and collaboration solutions, today announced the availability of Shared Tasks and Project Teams as part of its Employee Collaboration Suite – MangoAppSuite. Shared Tasks provides the ability to manage one’s own task list, view colleague’s task list and assign tasks to colleagues. Project Teams makes it easier to use MangoAppSuite to work on projects, or in teams.
“Shared Tasks and Project Teams are natural addition to our employee collaboration application suite. Shared Tasks coupled with micro-blogging updates, make status reports and weekly status meetings a thing of the past” said Anup Kejriwal, CEO and founder of MangoSpring Inc.
Using Project Teams, anyone can create private or public project groups on the fly. Each group comes complete with a group home page, project feed stream that shows group updates and group chat room – ideal for quick, real-time team collaboration.
Availability & Pricing
Both of these features are available to all MangoAppSuite customers immediately at no additional cost.
MangoAppSuite is available in two Software as a Service (SaaS) deployment options: shared and private. Shared Cloud networks are hosted on MangoSpring servers in a Telco class data center. Private Cloud networks are also hosted on MangoSpring servers for customers who need VPN access, higher security and a higher service level agreement (SLA). In addition, MangoAppSuite is available as an on-premise solution for customers wishing to deploy MangoAppSuite alongside their other IT systems and behind their company’s own firewall. The on-premise option comes with source code for unlimited customization and integration.
The SaaS version of MangoAppSuite is offered with three pricing plans: Free, Standard and Premium editions. The Free Edition allows a company to get started by creating a network with unlimited users and includes all user features. A company wishing to customize and administer the participation and content of a network will want to purchase the Standard or Premium editions which are $3.99 and $4.99 per user, per month, respectively. The Premium Edition builds on the Standard Edition with more security features and the ability to add users outside the corporate email domain. The Standard and Premium Editions include enterprise-grade support. Private cloud and on-premise pricing is available upon request.
